Water, food colouring, cheerios, marshmallows and cake sprinkles…..what could Year 6 have been cooking up in their science lesson?

They have been learning about our body’s circulatory system and these are the ingredients which went into their ‘model’ of blood!

Each ingredient represented an element of our blood and showed us how it all works together. Cheerios and red food colouring made the perfect red blood cells with white marshmallows showing us the proportion on white blood cells.
