Year 11, History group were absolutely outstanding on their trip to London, before half term. They visited the National Maritime Museum to learn more about the Spanish Armada

and then took the clipper boat to Westminster where Michael Broughton and Will, who work with Nigel Evans, Ribble Valley MP, took us on an excellent tour of the Houses of Parliament.

The students were able to visit the public gallery and observe a debate on the climate emergency further to the Queen’s speech on the Monday. Special recognition goes to RJ who answered lots of questions. Well done Year 11 and our thanks to Michael and Will at Portcullis House for their time.
