Year 7 delved deep into the past by visiting Lancaster castle as part of their studies of medieval History. Sandra, our tour guide, led us round the castle explaining it design and its importance in keeping law and order for over 800 years. Some of the stories were gory but insightful and built a better understanding of how life has changed for British people under the rule of law.
The afternoon gave Year 7 the opportunity to practise their skills using an OS map as they completed a quiz in Dunsop Bridge. Year 7 were excellent throughout the day, asking and answering questions and being real ambassadors for the school. Well done, year 7.
