We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who also has excellent leadership skills to lead a department and to teach Music across the school from EYFS to Key Stage 4. You will need exemplary management skills, the ability to inspire and motivate students and staff alike and have a passion and commitment to ensuring all young people, regardless of background, maximise their potential.

The successful applicant will be creative, well organised and will actively assist in the further development of Music within the School.

Oakhill Nursery – Nursery Nurse Level 3

Oakhill Nursery are looking for qualified childcare practitioners to work in our Outstanding nursery. We are situated in a quiet, tree-lined residential area in the heart of the Ribble Valley and within close walking distance from Whalley town centre and the train station.

Our dedicated nursery team are looking for enthusiastic practitioners who have a passion to nurture happy children and a strong drive to promote high quality childcare. We work with the key-person system to enhance children’s learning and development, using online learning journals. Ideally, you should hold an NVQ Level 3, have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and have some experience in a childcare setting.

  • The Nursery is open 50 weeks per year and holidays can be taken throughout.
  • Nursery opening times are Monday – Friday from 7.20am to 6.00pm.
  • Once you are appointed a permanent position you will get 20 days holiday plus bank holidays plus the time we are closed over the Christmas period.
