Oakhill Nursery – Nursery Nurse Level 3

Oakhill Nursery are looking for qualified childcare practitioners to work in our Outstanding nursery. We are situated in a quiet, tree-lined residential area in the heart of the Ribble Valley and within close walking distance from Whalley town centre and the train station.

Our dedicated nursery team are looking for an enthusiastic practitioners who have a passion to nurture happy children and a strong drive to promote high quality childcare. We work with the key-person system to enhance children’s learning and development, using online learning journals. Ideally, you should hold an NVQ Level 3, have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and have some experience in a childcare setting.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Successful applicants will need to provide ‘right to work in the UK’ documentation, undertake an enhanced DBS check and provide two satisfactory references prior to commencing employment.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
  • In possession of a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage

Additional Information

  • The Nursery is open 50 weeks per year and holidays can be taken throughout.
  • Nursery opening times are Monday – Friday from 7.20am to 6.00pm.
  • Once you are appointed a permanent position you will get 20 days holiday plus bank holidays plus the time we are closed over the Christmas period.

Position: Marketing Role

Start: February 2020

We are excited to be looking for a new team member to fulfil our marketing and communications function.

A fantastic role for the right person, with a variety of brands and audiences to work with across two businesses; Oakhill Leisure and Oakhill School.

To join us, you will have;

  • A minimum 5 years experience in a marketing role or related industry
  • Experience of managing and measuring marketing projects from planning through to reporting
  • A relevant industry qualification
  • Excellent written and spoken command of the English language, punctuation and grammar
  • A strong understanding of digital channels and platforms, including social media, email and website CMS
  • Strong computer literacy and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Desirable (but not essential) skills include;

  • Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Teamsharing softwares
  • Creative art working skills for creating assets and collateral
  • Digital skills for the set up and management of our digital estate including campaigns
