Pupils in the principal cast of Matilda recently enjoyed an unforgettable day in Liverpool as they prepared for their upcoming school production.
The group visited the World Museum and the Walker Art Gallery, exploring art and history while gathering inspiration for their roles. They enjoyed lunch at Neapolitan Pizza on Lime Street before heading to see the West End touring production of Matilda at the Liverpool Empire Theatre.
Both staff and pupils had a fantastic time, gaining fresh ideas and inspiration to help make the school production even more spectacular. The day was filled with learning, fun and excitement, allowing the cast to bond, explore creativity and experience professional theatre first-hand.
The visit provided invaluable insight into performance, staging and characterisation, helping pupils develop their own ideas ahead of taking to the stage themselves.
