Trips and Visits
At Oakhill, trips and visits are an important part of our curriculum, helping to bring learning to life in a meaningful and memorable way. From local visits and curriculum-linked outings to residential experiences, pupils are given opportunities to explore, discover and deepen their understanding beyond the classroom.
These experiences enhance what children learn in lessons, making knowledge more relevant and engaging, while encouraging curiosity and a love of learning. Just as importantly, trips help pupils to develop confidence, independence and teamwork, as well as building friendships and creating lasting memories as part of the Oakhill community.
