At Oakhill, we’re proud to offer a continuous journey of learning from Nursery through to Senior School.
Every stage builds on the last, helping children grow in confidence, independence and curiosity. Our small class sizes, dedicated teachers and caring environment ensure each pupil is known, valued and supported at every step.

Building Confidence and Independence
Our small classes mean teachers know every child’s strengths, interests and challenges, providing personal support that helps them thrive both academically and socially.
Oakhill’s Prep curriculum follows the Key Stage 1 and 2 frameworks of the National Curriculum.
We blend strong academic foundations with creativity and hands-on learning. Alongside Literacy, Numeracy and Science, children study a broad range of subjects, History, Geography, Religious Education, Art, Design Technology, Computing, Music, PE and Languages.
Specialist teaching is introduced early, giving pupils expert input in subjects such as Spanish, French, Drama, Music & Sport. Pupils also take part in Forest School, sports coaching with Clitheroe Wolves, Golf coaching with Clitheroe Golf club, debating, origami, chess and a variety of clubs that extend learning beyond the classroom.
Through these experiences, children learn teamwork, resilience and responsibility developing skills that prepare them for success as they move on to Senior School.
