Bursaries and Scholarships
We believe that an Oakhill education should be accessible to families who share our values and commitment to their child’s development.
At Oakhill, we believe that a high-quality education should be accessible to talented and motivated pupils, regardless of financial circumstances. To support this, we offer a limited number of means-tested bursaries each year. These are designed to assist families who may not otherwise be able to afford full school fees, helping to widen access to the opportunities an Oakhill education provides.
Bursaries are awarded following a confidential assessment of household income and financial commitments, and may cover a proportion of the school fees depending on individual circumstances. All bursary awards are reviewed annually to ensure they continue to reflect each family’s situation, and we work sensitively and closely with parents throughout the process.
For pupils joining our Senior School, we also offer a number of scholarships to recognise exceptional ability, effort and potential:
Academic Scholarships are awarded to pupils who demonstrate outstanding performance in entrance assessments, alongside a genuine curiosity, enthusiasm for learning and strong academic potential.
All-Rounder Scholarships celebrate pupils who make a significant contribution across multiple areas of school life. This may include academic commitment, sporting achievement, involvement in the arts, leadership, or service to others within their community.
Our scholarships are not only a recognition of achievement but also a commitment to ongoing development. Scholars are expected to maintain high standards and actively contribute to school life, acting as positive role models for their peers. Awards remain in place throughout a pupil’s time at Oakhill, subject to continued engagement and effort.
We encourage families to discuss bursaries and scholarships with us at an early stage in the admissions process, so we can provide guidance and support tailored to your circumstances.
All school fees are reviewed annually by the Governors and may be subject to change, with appropriate notice provided to parents.
Loyalty Scheme
Families with children already in Oakhill Nursery benefit from our loyalty scheme, with fee reductions through the early years:
- Reception – 20% reduction
- Year 1 – 15% reduction
- Year 2 – 10% reduction
