Several Oakhill pupils took part in the annual Concert for the Homeless held at St Catherine’s Church in Burnley, joining performers from across the local community for an evening of music in support of an important cause.
The event was a tremendous success, raising an impressive £800 as family and friends enjoyed a varied programme of performances including choirs, instrumental pieces and vocal solos.
We were especially proud to see Ben, Zac and Georgia representing Oakhill so brilliantly, each making an outstanding contribution to the evening.
Their performances reflected not only their musical talents but also their willingness to use those talents to support others and contribute positively to their community.
Events such as these serve as a wonderful reminder of the important role young people can play in supporting worthwhile causes, and we are delighted that our pupils were able to be part of such a meaningful occasion.
